Streaming
& Media Tech.
We build the backend infrastructure behind real-time video — ingest pipelines, transcoding orchestration, sub-second WebRTC streams, interactive overlays at viral scale. Built for streaming platforms that can't afford to buffer.

Streaming software development capabilities
What we build for
streaming and media companies.
Six core engineering capabilities — applied across live streaming, on-demand video, interactive overlays, audio platforms and creator tooling.
Live & On-Demand Video Ingestion
RTMP, SRT, WebRTC and RIST ingest pipelines built to absorb the worst contributor connections without degrading the broadcast. Multi-bitrate ladder generation, source-redundant fallback paths, automatic recovery from upstream failures.
Transcoding & Codec Orchestration
GPU- and CPU-balanced transcoding farms with codec-aware scheduling. AV1, H.265, H.264 ABR ladders, per-title encoding, watch-time-optimized bitrates. The encode budget is one of the largest line items in streaming — we engineer it.
Sub-Second Latency Streaming
WebRTC and LL-HLS architectures with Phoenix Channels handling the signalling. Sub-500ms glass-to-glass latency at scale, the kind that makes interactive streaming actually feel interactive — sports betting, auctions, live shopping, real-time gaming.
Real-Time Chat & Interactive Overlays
Millions of concurrent connections in chat rooms, ephemeral reactions, gifts, polls, in-stream commerce. Built on Phoenix Channels and Elixir/OTP — the same primitives that power Discord under viral load.
CDN Strategy & Edge Delivery
Multi-CDN orchestration with quality-based switching, signed-URL token pipelines, DRM integration (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady), edge caching strategy, and the operational layer that keeps CDN bills predictable.
Video QoS Analytics & AI Processing
Real-time quality-of-service ingestion, rebuffer attribution, viewer-behaviour analytics, AI-powered transcription and moderation. Telemetry pipelines that surface problems before viewers complain on Twitter.
A representative engagement
A real-time video infrastructure platform for the next generation of streaming products.
We co-built a real-time video platform with a media-tech operator running multiple consumer products in parallel — sports, gaming, and shoppable streaming — on a single shared backend.
The platform handles RTMP/SRT contribution, multi-bitrate transcoding, WebRTC distribution under 500ms latency, and chat at millions of concurrent connections. Built on Elixir/OTP for the signalling and chat planes, Go for the API surface, Rust for the hot encode paths. A single backbone that absorbs spikes from any of the front-ends — without scaling everything in lockstep.
The hardest part wasn't the encode budget or the CDN bills — it was making the system predictable. We instrument every hop end-to-end and ship dashboards the on-call team actually uses.
Streaming sub-verticals we serve
Where video meets engineering depth.
The streaming market is fragmenting into a dozen distinct technical problems. We engineer for the ones that demand real-time, low-latency or AI infrastructure at scale.
Video Infrastructure APIs
Backend APIs for ingest, encode, package, deliver — the lower layer that other streaming products sit on top of. Multi-tenant, multi-region, billing-aware.
OTT & VOD Platforms
Subscription OTT with multi-DRM, ABR, profile management, content rights management. The boring fundamentals that make a streaming business viable.
Real-Time WebRTC Platforms
Sub-second WebRTC at scale for interactive use cases — auctions, sports betting, gaming, telehealth, classrooms.
Creator Economy Tools
Live monetization (tips, gifts, subscriptions), creator analytics, audience segmentation, real-time interactivity primitives that creators reach for.
Live & Shoppable Streaming
Live commerce platforms — product overlays in the live feed, real-time inventory, payment integration, shoppable replay. Built for fashion, retail and emerging marketplaces.
Sports & News Streaming
Low-latency sports broadcast infrastructure with multi-angle streams, real-time stats, betting overlays, regional rights enforcement and broadcast-grade observability.
Why media operators work with us
Six things our long-term media partners stop worrying about.
The infrastructure problems that quietly devour streaming budgets — eventually solved, then engineered out of existence.
Sub-second latency that holds at scale
A WebRTC pipeline that works in a demo with 10 viewers is unrelated to one that holds <500ms latency with a million. We engineer the second kind — the kind that survives viral moments without collapsing into rebuffering.
Transcoding bills that don't bankrupt you
Encode is one of the top three line items in any streaming business. Per-title encoding, codec-aware ladders, smart-bitrate strategies — we make the transcoding farm pay for itself in saved bandwidth.
Real-time chat that survives viral moments
Phoenix Channels and Elixir/OTP can hold millions of concurrent chat connections on a tiny cluster — when configured right. We've shipped the configuration; you keep the savings.
Multi-CDN orchestration without lock-in
Quality-based routing, automatic CDN failover, predictable cost ceilings. Your CDN strategy stays in your hands — not the CDN sales team's.
DRM and content security, properly engineered
Widevine, FairPlay and PlayReady integration with key servers, signed-URL token pipelines and revocation flows. Engineered to pass rights-holder audits, not to look like it would.
A senior team that won't disappear
Our average media-tech partnership runs 3+ years. Senior engineers on every engagement — never delegated to juniors or account managers. The team that started with you stays with you.

A shoppable streaming platform for fashion and lifestyle brands.
Real-time product overlays, live inventory, multi-host streams, replay-shop functionality. Engineered to keep latency under 700 ms even with simultaneous payment, inventory, and chat events in flight.
A subscription OTT platform with multi-DRM and adaptive bitrate streaming.
Full OTT stack — content rights, multi-DRM packaging, ABR ladders, profile management. Designed to onboard new geographies in weeks, not quarters.
