Wellnuts is a deliberate engineering studio. We work with a small number of long-term clients on the kind of systems that don't get to fail — high-load IoT backbones, real-time streaming infrastructure, EV charge-point networks.
How we work
Every engagement is led by senior engineers. We take on the work we can do exceptionally, and only that — not the work that fills the calendar.
Our partnerships run for years. Not because we lock anyone in, but because the systems we build need years of compounding attention to keep paying off. We come in early, sit in standups, share roadmap decisions, and stay accountable to the same engineering metrics our clients answer to.
The deep stack — Elixir, Erlang/OTP, Go, Rust — is the surface answer. The real answer is that we treat reliability as an architecture problem, not an ops problem. When a platform must stay up, we know where the load goes first, where the cost compounds, and what to over-design on purpose.

The clients we work with treat security as a data-layer concern, not a compliance retrofit. SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR controls — engineered into the data plane from day one, continuously updated against modern safety standards.
Elixir/OTP for the parts that must not go down. Go and Rust where raw throughput pays. The deep stack isn't a trend — it's the correct answer for platforms that have to survive their own growth curve. We architect for the next 10× of load, not the current one.
