A platform and app for RV owners — real-time fleet tracking, prompt safety notifications, maintenance scheduling, custom reminders for registration renewal and beyond.
Goal
The client has approached our team with an idea to improve the travel experience and design a space where RV owners can record and track the condition of their vehicle, as well as build routes and discover new roads. We were developing the platform and app focusing on:

Challenges
When developing a platform and app for hassle-free and unforgettable trips, we've faced several roadblocks:
- • to set up real-time fleet park tracking and management;
- • to receive prompt and intuitive app notifications that ensure RV safety standards;
- • to design a user-friendly interface so that users provide RV maintenance and schedule service;
- • to input records and photos to the system about vehicle maintenance;
- • to enable custom notifications on essential details like registration renewal dates, etc.

How we built it.
A two-surface product — platform plus app — focused on real-time information about vehicles and the people driving them.
Vehicle maintenance as a prime focus
A dedicated tab to manage, track and monitor RV conditions. This data minimizes possible road incidents and ensures driving safety.
Global alerts settings
Comprehensive alerts for upcoming maintenance and fuel levels for chosen routes — making trips safe, simple and enjoyable.
Message tool
A messaging section that displays all messages sent to the vehicle's head unit for streamlined monitoring.
Track RV maintenance and recalls
Both the app and platform allow users to plan RV maintenance and receive feedback about vehicles they want to rent.

Driving Alerts
This page displays a report of events and vehicle conditions during a trip, including drive time, kilometers, speeding, harsh braking/acceleration, etc.
Vehicles
This page includes a map that displays the vehicle's current location with its active status and parking information.
Add Boundary
On this page users may add points to geofence, as well as entries/exits, and schedule them according to set time, speed threshold, choose geofence or vehicle group, etc.
Trips
This page displays distance, duration of the vehicle trip, events and amount of fuel for a particular vehicle and some additional information.
Accounts
Accounts page displays connected accounts with full details about users such as contacts, address, also current status, vehicle count, date, etc.
Seller Setup
This is an insurance page aimed to add clients and create accounts for them. Users may track current status, activity, name, etc.
App stats
This page displayed information about mobile devices connected to users' accounts. Users can also track connection, logouts, location, etc.
Admin Vehicles
This is a page on the administration management web application where the system administrator could see a list of all vehicles (belonging to all the customers) with system info about each one – which customer it belongs to, what device is bound to this vehicle, etc.
